Oakland: Police say nine juveniles as young as 12 arrested in series of strong-arm robberies OAKLAND — Nine juveniles police say are connected to nearly three dozen separate robberies in more than a dozen city neighborhoods were arrested Monday.According to a police spokesperson’s statement Tuesday afternoon, officers on patrol Monday saw a car linked to one of the robberies and followed it to a downtown business in the 100 block of 14th Street, where several people got out and went inside.Officers arrested five of the juveniles at the business, but others fled in the car at a high speed. An Oakland police helicopter followed it from above to an area near 6th Avenue and East 15th Street, where four people got out and ran.
