Emails reveal details in Delphi murders evidence leak

CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. -- Amongst hundreds of pages of documents filed with the Indiana Supreme Court are copies of an email chain that confirm the death of an individual involved in leaking sensitive Delphi murders crime scene evidence to online groups. Buried in a 240-page filing are copies of email exchanges between Judge Frances Gull, Carroll County Prosecutor Nicholas McLeland and Richard Allen's original defense team of Brad Rozzi and Andrew J. Baldwin. A man convicted of killing his girlfriend’s toddler in Maplewood is now charged with the murder of his cellmate, who was a sex offender, at the Lino Lakes prison.Kyle John Kelbel, 42, told a correctional officer on Oct. 5 that his cellmate was dead and made comments indicating he’d killed him, according to a criminal complaint filed Monday by the Anoka County attorney’s office. On Monday afternoon, upon arriving at the scene, police determined that the driver of a Volkswagon Passat had been traveling eastbound when they lost control of the car after passing another vehicle. Emergency medical personnel transported Crawford to Albany Medical Center to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
